No disaster here. The model just used too much cellulite cream.

She forms a very nice "four" numeral.

This instills me with so much pity. I want to repair the ravaged shape of her legs using both Photoshop and a big helping of butter cookies.

And the shin bone's connected to the, knee bone,

Now that's what you'd call a leggy blonde. Leggy as in singular.

Hmmmm...

I usually don't comment but this one is SO horribly bad I just have to! Simply amazing.

David said...

No disaster here. This is one of those rare transpelvic, above-the-knee amputees. This site is so lame.

Her father is the invisible man. She mostly takes after mom, except that one leg.

It's no disaster! my girlfriend looks just like that. It's the fold in the center. It's the light. That's what the photographer intened. You people need to learn about anatomy.

(did I miss anything)

gzuckier said...

yes a shark bit off her thigh. luckily, we were still able to save her calf.

omentum said...

How? HOW?! HOW does this make it to the printing stage without anyone noticing? It boggles the mind!

Dave said...

To paraphrase Peter Cook and Dudley Moore, I have nothing against her left leg... The problem is, neither does she!

mizzy said...

horrible. horrible. horrible.

Ai said...

It's possible she's just got a few extra knees, you know?

Tashina said...

This isn't a disaster. I think it's sweet that they're willing to use amputee models, they just need to get some more realistic (and longer) false legs if they insist on posing them with one. Seriously, it looks like they posed her, then stuck in a poorly constructed mannequin leg.

winter_coffin said...

What a mess. Her shoulders look shaven in, her arm is all wiggly-jiggly, and she appears to only have one breast. One of the hands doesn't even look like it belongs to her, not to mention the legs.

Guánder Guóman! said...

Oh my gosh! This is TERRIBLE!

Dino said...

Yep, that's a total disaster!

Brilliant!!!!

The Mushroom said...

Dancing with her is like walking on air. I never did find out what was under her skirt *wink wink*.

Evergrey said...

Good gods, it's a stick insect! And something ripped off it's leg!

Legs like a thoroughbred. (You can breed unicycles, right?)

Magdalena said...

wow. amazing!

I can't believe this. Whatever's wrong with the original pic? Does this means it'll look a lot worse if they did nothing to the pic? Seriously. I mean, SERIOUSLY.

Nick and Keith said...

Born with the leg of her unborn twin sister jutting out of her shin bone, the young Velveeta struggled to make her way in the world, eventually learning how to stand by grasping the heel of her own shoe and the hem of a very short dress, and teetering but still standing tall.

Hopping out into the wider world, she decided that the only viable future for a one-legged young woman carrying a sibling's only visible limb was modelling. And so she went to meeting after meeting, building up her book and starting to make a name for herself in the harsh world of professional modelling.

"Hey, nice legs Velveeta," she'd hear them snigger as she was rejected time and again, until finally, at long last, she earned her big breakthrough job. And what do you people do? You shoot her down. Nice going people. Nice going.

But it doesn't matter because Velveeta is undeterred. No, she will not be terred. She does this in honour of her unborn twin's leg, which she calls "Stumpy Barbara".

We applaud you Velveeta. You and Stumpy Barbara have done yourselves proud.

Falco said...

Look at her arm, clearly this woman has no bones anyway!

Trainmaster said...

This is clearly NOT a disaster. I can do that with my leg right now!

Losers.

But seriously this is an awful error. How can the editors not notice. Seriously?

DuckFive said...

hey wait. when I casted this girl.. i specifically asked for a ghost-like complexion.. I didn't know the agency would take it to the extreme and give me a broad with ghost limbs!!

Randy said...

Is this really a published photograph? Or was it designed specifically for PsD?

Mikey said...

Often the images are not that obviously disasters, but this one is beyond belief bad. We're not given the magazine, and I'm wondering if this is a hoax (?)

Macabri said...

@ tama: You rock my socks. Lol!

Leon said...

You could say that she doesn't have a leg to stand on...

Sorry... :)

What a horrible job! How did they not notice?

Amélie McBeal said...

Argh!

kyle said...

How has no one noticed the horrible angle her left arm is at (the one holding the heel)? Does she have limbs like a dog?

Hall Monitor said...

That's so hot!! I love when girls are missing parts of their leg!

Seagoat said...

At least she has an interesting answer to the pickup line, "Do those legs go all the way up?"

Eric the Grey said...

I had to make this one my first post here. Normally, I have to do some looking to see what the disaster is, but not this one.

Perhaps she took it seriously when her parents told her she made a better door than a window and has striven to change that particular character flaw.

Part of one leg is all the further she's made it.

when will people start to get it that magazine ads have these mistakes all the time and they are actually done on purpose. They are used to make people remember a brand name. Look at this one no one would of cared about this ad if it wasnt for the missing thigh but now that it is missing they not only got people that purchased the magazine to look at it but also alot of people on the internet. Instead of saying that the marketing department for this ad are horrible think of how much publicity they got for it. i think they did there job well

I have to guess that the right thigh was lost while making the left thigh look too thin.

I love to see the original.

I saw her in my dreams and not only that Addicted pictures too.

ST said...

If they atthached 4-5 more such stray legs on different points of her body she would never had to worry about falling over, she could also move by rolling like a wheel...

That's no PsD! She's the girl with the invisible thigh prosthesis. Don't be mean to her, she is very sensitive about it.

Pyre said...

"I always thought my thighs were fat. Then one day I tried a sample of Thinner™ Cream... but I used up the whole sample tube on my left thigh."

MooU22 said...

XD And yet I can't get a REGULAR job... Really, now. I don't remember ever making anyone's thigh disappear...

VerneB_Photo said...

"Four" your eyes only.

xograyce said...

mmkay, I know there's like major problems with her invisible leg, but does anyone notice how her leg seems to be really thin where the shadow is darker, and get thicker as the shadow fades.

TheBladeRoden said...

That dames legs reached all the way to the floor. Unfortunately they didn't reach all the way back up.

PhotoshopInstructions.com said...

Haha, what happened there? It's amazing that no one noticed.
