Nope I don't see it either. I am guessing someone thinks yellow shirt's arm should be visible between white shirts arm and body. I don't know, it could be just out of sight blocked by white shirts arm. It's possible I guess.
Realizing that the arm looks *slightly* bent in my previous example, here it is again with a straighter arm. It still easily hides behind the arm of the white shirt:
The original site allows you to zoom right in. At 700 percent the edges on the models look a bit odd and there's no hint of yellow peeking through. I think there's enough evidence to say ... I don't feel lucky.
There are countless reasons why this is a PsD ... however his arm not showing is not one of them. Take a second out to trace it in and you'll see that fits just fine.
a love how people spent their time and energy trying to prove this is not a disaster, make overlay examples and al that crap, yet fail to notice HOW FREAKIN' BAD THIS IS! the missing piece of arm is less of two (or more) evils! look at his shoes, and what the fuck is with the shadow? shadows don't add! or is that a puddle of pee there? it is, his trousers look wet... or is it just that the LIGHT SOURCES ARE ALL FUCKED UP HERE??
I think the photoshop disaster is more the oddly shopped in design on the yellow shirt, moreso than the poorly posed (and possibly not a shop issue) of the missing arm.
Seriously though... what's up with that design? "Oh hey, this doesn't quite look like its actually ON the shirt... hm... I know! OUTER GLOW!"
heath, I was going to do the same thing to show exactly what you've shown.
Although the glasses and the shadows on yellow shirts face are bizarre. How can the front of his shirt be so brightly lit and have those strange shadows on his face.
Can someone explain what they are seeing in the glasses reflection? I went to the site, but can't seem to find the major zoom people are talking about.
I would think that a disaster is easy to spot. And here we are, discussing if the issue the yellow arm that is missing or not, or the design on the yellow shirt, or the shadows.
When there's discussion on what the disaster is I would claim that the post is a fail.
Hey adler, the title of this post is "Relax, He's Armless", sugggesting the largest problem is some sort of clipped off arm. And I proved (I think pretty well) that it is not the case.
Sure, there's some so-so photoshopping in there, but this is an online catalog, not a print ad in People Magazine. Finding subtle problems with the photoshopping in thousands upon thousands of catalog images from small companies is like shooting fish in a barrel.

Modelled by Phantom Limb from The Venture Bros.
That is so a "Fishing With John" reference.
lmao!
ray: That is so a Steven Wright reference.
As is the other thing said about that person, "he had sideburns behind his ears."
This is so not a disaster, just a lousy pretentious pose and bad angle; I quit.
I'm staring ... looking closely ... don't see it. Someone be more specific - PLEASE!
Oh. I get it now. Dense today.
Read the title Judy, that's a good prix.
Sorry, I don't get it. :(
I don't get it either.
Sometimes I think this is just a joke on me to get me to stare at something for a long time.

the guy in the front? look at the gap in his arm. the guy behind's arm should be visible

His arm could be hidden by the other guy's arm--if he's had a limb transplant from Gumby.
realllllyyyy funny Rich.
Not sure I would consider this a disaster. It's not good, but I've seen a lot worse.
Damn, I am more interested in the incandescent top, that is so hot, I want one. More of a colour disaster i'd say!
Sorry, I don;t buy that this is a fail. That arm easily fits behind the arm of the white-shirted guy. Don't believe me? Check this out:
overlaid example
Even with that, there's still plenty of room to make his arm bigger and still be fully hidden.

Image overlay (take two)
Forget the limbs. Check out that ridiculous...design on the yellow shirt.
The chap who edited this probably scribbled a few lines, reduced the fill to zero and gave it an ugly drop shadow.
This is one lazy PsD

Zoom in and look at the glasses
Forget the arm. Zoom in and look at yellow guys glasses.
I love this blog! And half the fun of it is reading the comment or at least 1/5 of the fun :) .
i think the photoshop disaster on this photo is not legs but the left arm of the guy with the yellow sweatshirt. Isn't it?

I'm with Heath on this one. And that glasses close-up is hilarious.
I'd be very surprised if that horrible dragon image wasn't added afterwards as well. Or perhaps that's obvious.
There's no arm disaster but those jeans are a catastrophe. Are those belt buckles on the back pockets?
peter.w makes a good point I think.

The shadows does look edited. No problem with the arm however, it fits nicely behind the white shirt.
IMHO that is.

YES The Sophisticate's Diary
Those are belt buckles on the pockets, but then there is no accounting for design taste is there?
These, from the same site, are equally as crappy if you ask me.

Bethany, that would be the button under the image, with the XXL + magnifying glass on it.

A Photoshop snafu? Maybe. But a disaster?

I think this site is turning into a disaster looking for disasters that aren't even there.
Even if his arm was edited out a bit, it would have been far worse from a design point of view to have had a tiny bit of yellow arm poking out.
Ug, the real problem are those jeans. You'd get punched in the face for wearing those around here.
I too am joining the club of ignorant souls who just can't see the disaster in this one!
But those jeans sure do look roomy. Mmmm, roomy.
Maybe the guy in yellow just has a very, very thin arm that's bent in a ridiculous angle to appear missing!
Blimey Rich! I'm sat in a darkened room, alone and I went to look at the link you posted. nearly gave me a heart attack!
Here's the real disaster, there's nothing wrong with the arm. The problem is that shitty drawing over the photo.

Is anyone buying that yellow decal on his shirt either?
