I'm in two minds about this. I want to agree that the job is poor and shouldn't make it to print, but I can also quite clearly see how they simply wouldn't care in this case. Is that wrong?

The remit for designers of bags for things like this is pretty undemanding. All they have to do is produce an image of something that won't make you throw up just thinking about what a sad, pathetic life someone would have to lead to buy a microwaveable hamburger!

I mean, with apologies to Ariel and everything, but... you know.

Dragonforce, that 't' isn't the error, this is a Brazilian package and that's how we write filet mignon in Portuguese.

Excuse me, i love photoshop disasters, but you got it wrong this time. Here at Brazil its pretty normal to have burguers made from every kind of meat (including filet mignon, which here is called filé mignon)
I really didnt got this one... am i missing something?

Excuse me, i love photoshop disasters, but you got it wrong this time. Here at Brazil its pretty normal to have burguers made from every kind of meat (including filet mignon, which here is called filé mignon)

For all who don't see the problem with this photo --- look closely at the hamburger patty and you'll see two rows of the same bumps and pits in the meat, one row on top of the other.

Given that the French champignon is champinhom in Portuguese, why is the French mignon not minhom in Portuguese?

Filé-mignon just looks bad, even if it is correct.

Filet Mignon doesn't need to have bacon on it, it is the name of an specific cut of the cow, but they usually cut it on "medallions" ( round pieces about 1 inch high and use one stripe of bacon to surround it.

This is kind of a cross between PsD and my other favorite blog about failures, Cake Wrecks.

The skanky Photoshop job here kind of represents the skanky burger one can only imagine is in the bag. Maybe it's a truth-in-advertising thing.

I feel like the regularity of the bumps and pits on the side of the patty isn't due to cloning, but because the microwavable burger has been rolled out by some type of tread mechanism.

You know normally I roll my eyes at the "it's not a disaster" comments but if the disaster is really that the clone tool was used in the patty then ... then dude ... it's not a disaster. lol. I mean seriously, I had to really squint at the picture to notice. Sure the whole thing is cheap shopping job, but it's not exactly an extra head, is it? Bo-ring.

Champignon in portuguese is not Champinhom. It's the same as french: champignon.
So, mignon is correct as well as filé, and not filet.
It's not a so simple language.

maybe someone could me a diagram or circle the mistake, but I don't really get it. If a bunch of photoshop snobs are the only ones who can find it, maybe its not that bad. It's not like eight fingers or crazy bad shadows here, just a really nasty looking crap-burger in a bag.

With the newest spelling reform "Filé" might be right.

it's the same here in brazil (where this disaster is from). this company could and should be punished for that. but i'm sure it won't. it's not even a famous brand of food.

Não escrevemos "campinhom" e nem mesmo "minhom". A ignorância não chegou à este ponto.
É champignon e mignon, normal. O erro não está no português, mas no próprio hamburger que parece meio "atolado" dentro do pão.
Pelo menos para mim, este é o erro.

Desculpa, não vou gastar meu inglês tupiniquim tentando traduzir isso só para deixar com um monte de erros a mostra.
