It appears that the prominent dentition is real, although the copy-paper coloration is not. Here's one from a French source, where dark taupe teeth are more socially acceptable:

I think you'll find that Dave does have genuinely white teeth, as this photo from a recent conference talk shows.

If they were going to give him teeth, why didn't they extend the grin to the edges of his mouth? It's impossible to open the middle of your mouth like that while keeping the edges clamped firmly shut!

Not that this isn't a PSD, but there may also have been some designer bluff calling going on. A colleague was once asked to remove a client's double chins in a photo. He really overdid it, to the point where the guy was a face stuck on a tube of skin, hoping the client would realise how bloody weird it looked - but he loved it!
