It's not a PsD...While it may appear that the glasses are impailing her ears, they are not. She's an Elf...and those glasses are situated correctly on top of her pointy ears.

I'm more puzzled why a makeup company would want to add sunglasses and cover up her eye makeup.
I think i'l just go and buy some aviators, or take the shortcut and photoshop a pair onto all my pictures, but at least mine would have some type of 2d presence on my face.

The reason why they didn't just give her real sunglasses is because they use the same photo--sans aviators--for other product ads. Which kind of makes the disaster even worse, but what are you gonna do.

There's something really strange going on with her arms in the original pic.
It doesn't get much worse than that; from the blurred but not blurred foreground to the glasses to the idiotic cut 'n' pasting.
I especially like the word 'free' which would have been optically correct had they not dropped it over the word 'aviator'.

Its because they didn't bother to/have money to employ the model, they just got a photo library to send them something from their archives, but they couldn't find anything appropriate with glasses on it. Haha cheapasses
