Hmm, if only we knew who did this we could ask them how the model lost most of her forearm. I'm leaning towards a previous shaving ad photo shoot getting out of hand.
Aw, come on, it's all completely obscured by her left knee. Who knows what's going on down there? Her whole left arm could be hidden behind her left calf while her friendly shaving midget is stretching up with the razor. There are all kinds of perfectly rational explanations for this apparent train wreck.
Her left thigh also looks like it came from a different person entirely because it is almost perfectly cylindrical, unlike her right thigh that looks almost human.
Why do this? How hard is it to just take a photo of a human model who is shaving her leg?
@current resident: that's not a giggle face; it's a satisfaction face: exactly the same expression a guy would have after a particularly satisfying fart.
I think the pickled shrunken head belongs to the voodoo man who gave her the short arm in the first place. "Hell hath no fury etc. . ." That's why she's laughing.
I wonder why it's so hard to have an actual woman sit on a bathtub and take some photos of her. Surely Skintimate makes enough money off of their overpriced smelly shaving gel to hire a photographer and a model.
I think the parts of her left arm are actually added on to her right arm! Yes, models are long, lean and willowy, but dang! Girlfriend got some loooong arm there!
I would think it is nigh on impossible to sit on one of those bathtubs in that position. They are a lot deeper than is suggested by her right foot.
Anyway, the water is running, it would be far too slippery to balance on such a narrow ledge with one foot off the base of the tub and the other on tiptoes.
And who has a bath dressed in sexay underwear? That lovely silk will surely shrink and she will never be able to wear it again :(
And in any event, who, WHO thinks shaving their legs is an event worthy of bursting into spontaneous laughter while (supposedly) alone in the bathtub?
Gah, do I demand too much realism from my adverts?
wv: boollies Am I being a boollie to the amateur designers?
I don't normally like to make "not a disaster" posts, as they invariably make the poster look like a doofus, but isn't her forearm just angled towards the camera a bit and therefore foreshortened? (i.e. her elbow is some distance behind her knee, not right pressed against it)
It just doesn't look unnatural to me. The fact that her arse is levitating off the bathtub is a different matter, of course.
Forget about her, what's with the tiny creepy ghost-like figure on the mirror-desk behind her (right above the razor in her hand). Looks like a ghost of Burt Reynolds (even though he's still alive).
I am not a photo design person or pro photographer... but this happens often enough, I just have to ask... why do these people feel they have to alter body parts like this? Is there something I am missing. Why not just put photo in with some blemish retouching or something like that? Why is this type of altering even considered? Sorry for being dense. Just have no idea.
@LiveStrong: Actually I'm very well-versed in 3D perspective, as well as anatomy, and I imagine many people who post here are too. That's exactly why this looks so wrong to us, and not just for the arm. Her foot and the way she's "sitting" on that tub are also way off. "3D perspective" doesn't explain this disaster. That model was obviously mangled, copied and pasted into that tub by an amateur.
BUT for everyone that everytime complain about oh how easier it would be to make someone just pose for the pics: guys, the company just send you some awful pics (if you are lucky. otherwise it will be just a 'concept') and a bit of text, you have to put it together in some hours. END.
Want to hire a model and a photographer and pay them? go for it. Companies find it's cheaper to hire YOU to create something from nothing (or from random stock photos)
I photoshopped this! ha! And no, NOTHING was stitched together, not arms, legs or the image. This is full fram actual shot. So sorry to disappoint all of you 3D experts out there

HEEHEE!
FIRST
(my girlfriend can do that!)
It appears that both her left arm AND her left leg were involved in that accident.
She clearly had part of her left forearm surgically removed and inserted into her right forearm.
She's a hybrid with square arms...
Nothing PsD here...
wv: frings
She can touch her toes without bending over.
Please, no more "my girlfriend can do that" comments.
That is just so many different levels of FAIL.

I'm more concerned with what happened to the arch of her foot.
I, for one, find the everlasting "my GF" comments very funny. True, we don't need more than a couple of them per post.

VW: Pesse (pretty much says it all)
Girls*, do you ever giggle in ecstasy while shaving your legs, like this model?
(*and any guys who shave their legs)
Her feet are not in proportion. Even if her leg was obscuring her arm , it would still leave her forearm short in proportion to the rest of her body.
@current resident: that's not a giggle face; it's a satisfaction face: exactly the same expression a guy would have after a particularly satisfying fart.
Who's shrunken head is on the dressing table?
Looks a bit like Bill Clinton's.

Looks like she shaved off her tan, too. Oops!

I did not know M.C. Escher made bath tubs!
Forget her left forearm, how is she managing to levitate out of her bathtub?
She has her forearm removed and that's why she's crying...

Does anyone else see that?

@ Fuzzy Duck: By getting rid of all the fuzzy, heavily soaked hair on her legs. That's also why she's ecstatically laughing like that. Wouldn't you?
Have you guys ever heard of 3D perspective? There's nothing wrong with this picture...
Ryan - that's not Burt Reynolds, it's Statler from the Muppet Show.

@ Bunnywuffles: "And who has a bath dressed in sexay underwear? That lovely silk will surely shrink and she will never be able to wear it again :("
Clearly, she bought it one size too big and is trying to shrink it down to size! No problem here, not at all! :D

Thanks for the link which takes us to the artistes who want credit for this.
Three people think this is soooooo amazing that they want to be associated with it.
Including a photographer.
Wow.
Some women prefer to shave on the edge of the tub like this, so the clothes don't bother me. I've never been that happy to shave my legs, though.
Ok this is pure crap.

OMG. I followed that link - check this one out:

It should be under Fashion, Book 1 and is image number 10 if the link doesn't take you directly there. What is going on with those legs?!
I think that shaving foam is also pasted over her leg.
I don't think you're supposed to be able to reach your knees from a standing position.
I would also like to point out that shaving one's legs is not that much fun. Definitely does not warrant the laugh of joy the model is experiencing.
Or...perhaps she is grimacing in pain from the operation to drastically shorten her forearm.
WV: diefir. As in: I'd diefir summa that there Skintimate.
Looks like a giant woman in a dwarf's restroom.
psd fail
She’s probably shrinking along with the room an Alice in shaving land see she’s super happy to shave! Less leg to work on lol
Did anyone else notice the leg of the desk is curving mysteriously towards the girl?
