nonono, it's two woman, I'm sure. Two, and the other have only one leg. because this one don't have legs at all. the other woman have this leg, and maybe one ear and a nose left.
Well duh - she clearly has one leg that splits into two just below the knee - it's obvious if you look at the silhouette in the water spray above the image of the product bottle on the right
If she is a very limber contortionist, it seems slightly possible that this might be not shopped. The right leg is crossed tightly to the left. My girlfriend can't do that, but I have seen some people who can assume the position. The very dark shadow area below the leg could be hiding the other, not bent leg. The position of her elbows makes the right leg look very strange, but it does not seem to be grafted on. Unfortunate layout and photography disaster, yes, but maybe not a Photoshop Disaster this time.
@Domitype - noble words, but I would have to disagree on the whole. I believe it is her leg, but there's no way that hasn't been 'shopped to mutant proportions.
I don't see the problem. She clearly has two legs: one to the left of her arm, and the other one to the right. You can tell they're different legs from each other because they're totally different widths.
Apparently the Na'vi haven't quite perfected their Human avatars yet... and it's using Photoshop Disasters as part of a misinformation campaign to cover for any anatomical blunders.
What's wrong with her, I don't see it!! I see ladies with two-feet-tall-heads all the time, specially at the Xtra-Extreme Yoga gyms. But the microarm, huh, what's wrong with it?
Um... yeah you're assuming she's sitting down while she's really standing (you can SEE her other leg as a shadow) and then bringing her leg up and resting her foot on something and the photo has been cropped. This one isn't a disaster sorry...
We're ignoring it because it's just bleed-through from the opposite side of the page. There's reversed printing on her leg, too, but these are not part of the PSD.
What does a creative artist do when he or she is uncertain about a proportion or about where a joint should sit? Hire a model or dig out the wooden posing mannequin.
What does a photoslopper do when he or she is uncertain about a proportion or about where a joint should sit? Wing it.
I think she was shot STANDING. I can't imagine, how else anyone could obtain such pose. Only with very high stool to put the foot on and twist the rest of the body for photographer's pleasure. In this case, I'm not sure it is a PSD (except satinizing the skin, of course). Although it is curious shot, without any doubt.
Yup, she's definitely standing . . . on her invisible left leg. Unless of course her left leg does not join her body at her hip (draw an imaginary line under her shoulder to see where that should be) in which case the dark shadow could qualify as a 'leg'.
I think it is her real leg. It looks to me like she is standing with her leg up on something..like a sink...shaving her legs. you can see the shadow of her other leg as if she is standing.hmm i've done it before.
To anyone who believes she is standing...try it. Seriously. If that "shadow" is actually her leg her center of balance would be shot, not to mention her left hip would have to be a fraction of the size of her overdeveloped right one. The lighting is also wrong for that--we should be able to see some skin coloring if that were a leg (note the edge of her left arm)...and if you notice, the same "shadow" tone appears above her ginormous hip.
Add to this all the proportional issues others have brought up, (not to mention that blob of hair on her right shoulder) and this is definitely a disaster.
You should all try to get yourselves on that pose in front of a mirror. It's not hard. And when you take a photo with 28mm to 35mm lens, it will make the photo look distorted as it looks now. And the leg disappears.
I don't get why people are saying her positioning is impossible. I'm not commenting on how good or bad it looks, but I can certainly move into that position and I'm not very flexible. I have rather wide hips and if I just move my upper half to the left, the hip/waist difference looks much bigger. And I can very easily sit in that same position. It looks different though. Her leg looks messed up. But just because you're less flexible or shaped different, or your girlfriend is, does not mean the position itself is impossible o.O
Plus, haven't you people seen shows where contortionists squeeze into little tiny boxes? This is a far cry from that.
First, I can even do that pose. Second, this picture is cropped, idiots. I have the actual magazine page right here and this picture you posted here is cropped.

Both my girlfriends can do that, but only together...
"I only have one leg, but I have to return it to the morgue when we're done shooting this."

OMG! What happened before and after the elbow?!
CANNOT UNSEE!!
i like how her shoulder looks like someone took a bite out of it best

At school she used be called "thunder thigh" by the mean girls.
Seems to have had her ribcage removed too?

Are we just ignoring the giant stripe down her right arm to be polite?

Quick, someone get a doctor -- she dislocated her hip!
Naw, let's just get the shot and leave.
oh shit. that is scary
To those who can't see the disaster:
1. NOBODY - not even a good contortionist - can get their inside thigh to rest on their tummy button like this.
2. NOBODY has a thigh that halves in width.
3. NOBODY has hips that stick out one foot (30cm) wider than their shoulder, not even when resting their entire body weight on that one leg.

Apart from the superthigh, those arms look gibbon-proportioned.
The eyes don't match, either.
It's a sexy jigsaw puzzle
