But you know - when an image is as up-front as this in announcing "Absolutely nothing in this image is true" - I ask myself whether the missing bit of leg detracts from the otherwise photorealistic result they were probably aiming for.
Photographer, to male model: "Dude... the laws of perspective explicitly state that you can't be simultaneuously standing infront of AND behind the chaise lounge... so one of your limbs will have to go.
If it's any consolation, there are plenty of tool companies looking for one-legged models... if you're a Lesbian, that is".
Is it just me or is that asian guy on the floor got that painful look cos the chaise lounge has just ripped a big hole and is crushing his 'man bits' (in fact that maybe what he is serving her on a plate).....
Wow, I'm really surprised that so many famous people have allowed themselves to be rendered hideous/ridiculous by this person. I pretty much hate all of it, except Cuba Gooding Jr looks alright but that might just be because he's a good looking man in general, and from the looks of it he refused to do anything stupid for the camera.
@ Mad Izatie Ignorance is hard to hide if you try to be snarky. That pic is old and this is LaChapelle's style, has been since you were lip syncing to Britney's "Baby One More Time" in front of a mirror.
With all due respect, the comping is this picture is unlikely to aim at looking accurate or realistic. It's quite a blunder and a PsD but not entirely out of style with the rest of the photograph!
I like the concept. Too bad he messed up with the model's leg. lol
And for those saying she copied this and that bitch, this picture is from early 2006. Way before Gaga's bizarre existence and Gwen's Sweet Escape Album.
....but Gewn's L.A.M.B. album was in 2004, and that was when she did the Harajuku thing. and Christina's latest stuff does have a bit of GaGa inspiration in it. o.o

That picture gives be seizure just looking at it.
What? You mean this photo was PHOTOSHOPPED???
It's nice to see William Hung is getting some post-AI work.
I think the dude on the floor got his arm cut off too.
Wow! The original source page has enough PsD material for the next 20 years...
I think the chaise longue was lacking one foot and borrowed his.
Ah, no - I see where you got confused. This is not a PSD. It's a scissors-and-glue job, and the artist slipped whilst cutting.
I am now going to wash my eyes out with bleach.
It's true - the leg is missing.

If what you mean is the site is god-awful trash, I agree.
My next door home-schooled neighbor in third grade who just started using Photoshop can do that.
Whatever that is selling, I don't want any thank you.
dear merciful heaven, it is like rainbow brite was getting it on with a tattoo artist and they exploded all over aguilera and some gay amputees.

Oh, Christina. till trying to be relevant. First the Lady Gaga dupe, now the Gwen Stefani Harajuku Girls copy. Blegh!
LaChapelle and subtlety, like BP and environmental responsibility . . .
Could never understand hype around this guy and his cheesy exploits. Glad he ended up here.
I on Team Intentional here.

I love the group picture on the page where one of the nude ladies steps into a big woman's crotch. It's a brillian failure.
When it seems obvious they weren't aiming for photo realism I think it's ok that they take 'artistic freedoms' in mutilating body parts.

erk... my bad. moral, you've caught me! -hangs head in shame.- but i don't keep up with these things.
But me lip-syncing to Brittany? Eww... no way. I grew up listening to Disturbed. Whenever Brittany came on tv, I'd change the channel.
Right; I skimmed through the gallery. It makes me want to throw away my bronzer. Her tan; is it pureal?! (wv)
I suppose as long as you're having a hallucinatory fever-dream, you might as well have one featuring a heavily tattooed amputee.
It's a really messy collage, isn't it? Too busy, way too busy!
This is such a mess of composition that I think we can take off the word "Photoshop".
The only one I though was even appropriate is the series with Elton John =)
pretty sure I'm gonna have to put this little slice of AWFUL on someones desktop here in the future..

to be fair, she IS holding a samurai sword.
At what point can we stop calling David LaChapelle a photographer? Because I think we've gone beyond that point.
Oh now that is just plain offensive. I'm going to turn my back on this picture and pretend i was born today with no memory of it...
so er, what site's this?
Does anyone notice that her crotch area seems a bit odd? Like her right thigh is just too fat to have any shape there?
My eyes!
