I have seen this before. There is a lizard inside.

I actually love it.

I should try holding my 17" macbook like that, it looks so easy.

Ho-ly sh*t... Now we're talking PSD's!

What does it cost to hire a model and a photographer for an hour to take a photo of an actual person holding the actual product? Not an exposure-blown stock photo of an mannequin "holding" a photo of a product?

Take: One body & right arm.
Add: One left arm, one laptop, three different lighting sources, a dash of anti-gravity.

Mix (not very) well, (half) bake(d), serve.

Is the MSi on the top of the laptop (when the laptop is closed) supposed to be right side up when it is upside down (when it is open)?

doka said...

My hand can do that.

nothings really there, the laptop, the hand, the background, her mind...

This is definitely a PSD, I'm re-subscribing!

[sorry just thought I'd throw that in to get a little balance]

Whatever she is looking at in the distance must be more interesting than the anti-gravity capable netbook she is not holding.

@claude: the logo is correct.

Can't find anything that's really good there - great, a real PsD...

And now i'm gonna take my head and hit it against a beautiful grey concrete wall.... aaaaaaargh....

I can't believe i didn't spot this one at first, i had to actually look for it. I might unsubsreebo for my own personal health... it reminds me of the photoshops i used to produce in year 10 back in school. Although i think mine were better than this to be hoenst. Serioussly, they didn't even need to hire a model for this, they could have just got a female co-worker to stand there with a laptop and say 'cheese', it would have been much quicker, and completely free as well.

wv: alsio - oh, and alsio don't forget mario!

It's obviously a cyborg. The dexterous and compact left arm is not only super-strong, but magnetized.

WV: dessim
I dessim eguh sDsP ekil siht eno!

Arno said...

Nothing wrong with this. I don't know what you're all going on about....

wv: proprer (that's the comparative form of how this should've been done ;) )

I fail to see the problem. How else should a superglue ad look?

Robbie said...

Claude: Most (if not all) laptops have logos that are made to show right-side-up when the machine is open.

WV: Nonista. Militant supporter of the principle of having a completely empty mind. The model here is a Nonista.

Truth is: the AD may not even be able to notice this is nowhere near perfection...

Look, it's simple: She's Supergirl (in her alter-ego), standing in the Fortress of Solitude and wondering why the hell she bought that crappy laptop. In the next frame she destroys it with her heat vision.

@Arno:

Properer.

A perfect blending of word verification term and PsD content.

Bravo!

I think the model is holding the base of one laptop to which an apparently larger top was added. Overlap perhaps?

Melencolia said...

Is that a fold on her "arm"? Did someone actually put a magazine on the scanner to add an arm to a characterless stock image? Why does that person have a job and I don't…?

I was doing it with my girlfriend when I saw that.
