I Do & I Don't: Don't

Application of Quantum Mechanics PSD
This image is an excellent example of the application of quantum mechanics to Photoshop (â„‘). The image ∂ is represented by a waveform ℵ in which ℵ' is the image without any Photoshop work and ℵ'' is the image that a neutral observer ☺ can see. As â„‘ approaches infinity we see the waveform collapse and oh her arm has snapped off.

Arm? What about her freakin' head?!

She must be on a lot of quality drugs to be smiling after having her arm ripped off!

Also, dude there seems rather grossed out by that chicks chest. They must all be on a lot of drugs here.

wow, barring the terrible thing that happened to her arm, what the hell kind of posing is this? that's some of the most awkward and uncomfortable blocking i've ever seen! leave it to b-grade rom-com schlock

The bald guy is the Midas of vitiligo.

You're talking about Jane Lynch's right arm? It's behind her body, isn't it? Not seeing it doesn't mean it's not there.

Melencolia said...

@David Spalding You're assuming her arm is like Russell's teapot? My, that opens up a whole new world of possibilities!

My Bendable Arm Barbie can do that.

nothing strange. he blonde's arm is just behind her.

It's not ALL fun and games. The long haired one is gripping the short haired one's hand so tightly it's turning purple. The one in black must have been reaching for something the guy has and he was holding her off, then he was saved by his girlfriend. I think she can do that.

And the "extra light source" on her broken, bendable, Barbie arm (as well has her jeans and her neck) is coming from exactly where???

Looks like they overdid it a little with the Liquify tool on that smile.

Why does that guy have his hand on this mother-in-law's chest! What is this movie rated? What is this world coming to???

Donna said...

Hey, I just took a whole lot of drugs, and YOU KNOW WHAT? The picture looks perfectly fine. In fact, the world looks fine too. I think I will stay here. Less problems to deal with.

(Just kidding - Had a crummy day at work. Just some wishful thinking, I guess.)

My mind is having real troubles with the bald dude's head. I think it broke off of his shoulders and reattached itself to his wife's back.

plutomy: "pluto anatomy" - when your anatomy begins to warp as a result of spending too much time on Pluto. Ex: The people on this poster have clearly experienced some degree of plutomy.

My Fiance and I are Shaolin Monks who practice the 'Furrowed-Brow' and 'Clenched-Jaw' style of Kung-Fu.

We have heard that there were two Masters who are bragging of the superiority of their 'Gaping-Open-Mouth'-style Kung-Fu. At last we meet.

We would overlook your bragging but for that fact that we have seen your TV series 'Glee'. So we will fight to the death to see whose Kung-Fu reigns supreme!

Hi-YAH! That was the 'Dim-Mah' or 'Touch of Death' I've just applied to your breast! Your 'Glee' will die a slow death in Summer Reruns and not be renewed in the Fall!

I just don't get it? There is nothing wrong with anyones arm, head or neck. Just can't see it...Please explain. It's just an example of bad photography.

It took me a short while to find it I admit, but once you've noticed what's wrong with the woman on the left, you can't unsee it. It's like that bit in the second Harry Potter film where he loses all the bones in one arm...

RFLMAO! For all you losers saying it aint a PSD check out my overlay of two of the poster images here

don't click on ggg's link. it will screw your browser

This cover is horrible in sooooo many ways. I cry for Jane Lynch that she ever got involved in this. Aren't actors supposed to come across as, oh I don't know, natural??

catsden said...

ggg's link not only "screw up your browser" but the hidden sex scene bounces around the screen so quickly it's nearly impossible to turn off. Delete that MFer, please.

Susan Wensel said...

ggg's link is a malicious link to a sex scene. It should be reported/deleted.

Hey DONT delete ggg's link because it's his birthday and he's thirteen years old today and he's really proud of it. You know, it's the best thing he's ever achieved in life.

Silvia said...

sorry I wanted to say: I always wonder whether publishers notice all the mistakes before publishing the photos...

WDI said...

Tome, I hate to correct you but ggg is, in fact, 11 today and he's a she.
She will no doubt be so excited that we're talking about her that she will do a little wee in her My Little Pony knickers.

You have a point Fat's'hit - there have been a few posts on this site that are examples of bad photography rather than bad photoshop - especially where the "offending " limb is obscured by another persons limb, or a piece of clothing etc. An easy way to determine if a shot/position is "physically possible" is to trace the missing/obscured bits back into the photo - kind of like joining the dots. You do, however , need at least a rudimentary knowledge of anatomy to do this. Also remember that a fair proportion of the comments here are just people being funny, rather than objectively examining the photos.
