    I really, REALLY want to believe that is just an weird angle that the photo’s been taken but… no….

    OTOH (no pun intended!), perhaps that’s a magical guitar which plays by itself, so she really doesn’t NEED another hand and arm.

        You mean the strap that’s going behind her hair on the right and going round her back on the left? You wouldn’t see the left hand side anyway … and you can see the right hand side just fine.

      Well maybe is someone posted a DECENT PSD for once, you wouldn’t hear the complaining. You can see her armdown by the guitar. It’s just an odd angle, and her arm is back and away from the camera.

      Seriously… it’s been a while since we’ve seen a good DISASTER. Most of these are just photos taken at odd angles. :/

    Not a PSD someone ripped off her right arm and placed a huge guitar on her crotch, look at the size of that thing! Yeah and someone pulled her hair to make it longer.

    You all missed it….Yes the right arm missing is one thing but the guitar needs to be PLUGGED IN. The guitar jack is EMPTY and there is no cord.

    Yeah, I get this is a PsD.But for all you people who don’t know her: she ALWAYS has copious amounts of eyemake-up on on-stage (and sometimes even off-stage). So better be happy there were a good few other RADICAL misses in this one, otherwise the list of complaints would’ve been endless!Just for this once I won’t be unsubscriberberberberberbering…

        If there was nothing there, you’d see the amp continue behind her hip. And if that’s not her arm, then please, enlighten me to what it could possibly be? It can’t be her hair because it’s a single, solid object that is positioned behind her, (surprise surprise) attached to her, and is blocking the rest of the view of the amp.

        It’s not a PsD. Just a poor decision.

            Sure; it’s just a coincidence that it looks like her arm; the arm that’s being claimed isn’t there; but in fact it’s blurry hair; on one side; the side where her arm should be … oh wait, it’s probably just her arm.

    Oh well, I’d love to believe it’s not a PsD. If Avril didn’t have an arm, the world would be a better place, without that annoying popish riffs. They could’ve ‘shopped her mouth off too.

      I completely agree. To me that’s the big problem here, she appears to have three legs! Two acting as her lap and the guitar is resting on it and one to the side of the stool she’s sitting on.

    Her arm is behind her back, her legs are normal, thats a common metal pattern for a scratchplate, there is a guitar strap at both ends, the guitar is normal sized, and the reason there is no lead plugged in is because she’s a shitty pop star marketed towards preteen punk wanabees who dont care whether shes actually playing the instrument live or not.

    Jeezuz. Her arm’s behind her back. Just ’cause you can’t see it, don’t mean it ain’t there. You guys must get a real kick outta that ‘peek-a-boo’ game. “Oh my god! You’re gone! Oh, there you are. Oh my god! You’re gone again! Oh, there you are… “.

    And the idea that the pattern on her guitar is the PS background? Ya wanna take two seconds to actually think that one through? Maybe take a second look at it? First of all, since when did the PS background ever print. Second, it’s clearly not square with the edge of the frame anyway. Third… oh, forget it.

    The guitar strap? Yeah you mean the one I’m looking at, right there in the picture? Oh, you can’t see other end of it? Yeah, refer to my earlier “peek-a-boo” argument.

    Her guitar’s not plugged in? Okay. Ya think it’s possible that she, I don’t know, unplugged the guitar? Or, even crazier… never plugged it in! Mind blowing, ain’t it?

    If there’s a PSD here, I ain’t seein’ it.

      Your arguments are very valid. But…

      Very recently I was doing a photoshoot and there was a pose where the model stood on one leg and lifted the other one very high and straight in a fashion that it seemed (from the angle I was shooting) she had only one leg.
      I even made a joke and said “Lower your right leg a bit, so it can appear. I don’t want my picture to be on PsD :p”

      So, my question is:
      Why do photographers, design covers, photoshoppers and whomever is (are) responsible for this cannot realise that a picture -as natural as it is- can be deceiving and simply choose another one?
      It was a concert, I bet there were hundreds of other pictures they could choose from.

      Even it is not a PsD, it’s a Poor Choice Disaster, for sure.

          you guys are forgetting one very important thing…

          while it can be deceiving to people who have nothing else to do but look for PsDs, most people do not look at ads and things closely enough to notice these things. even if they did, they would dismiss them or come to the same conclusions as digitalcos

            no, I couldn’t say the same for EVERY post here. many of them are real disasters — ones that would be impossible to excuse and that most people would notice. I THOUGT this blog existed so we could enjoy mocking “professional” graphic artists’ gaffs or lack of artistic ability, but if a PsD depends on our interpretation, what’s the point?

      Stand in front of a mirror and try to assume that position. Then come tells us if you managed without disassembling your body. The upper and the lower halves of her body are quite obviously taken from (at least) 2 photos and they absolutely do not fit together.

      And why is a piece of the guitar rift missing…I don’t know

      At the end of the day, who cares – they are pretty colors and lights, that should do it :)

    OK, I’m completely stunned that no one has noticed that she has THREE LEGS!!! There is one to our left, sort of behind the guitar (which would be accurate if she was standing), but at the same time the guitar is resting on two legs (which would be accurate if she were sitting). WTH?

    Is nobody bothered by the fact that in spite of the light source coming from her back the microphone shadow is on her guitar?

      It’s almost like for this shot they used more than 1 light.

      Maybe you didn’t notice that the whole front of her body is also lit?

      There are a few ‘possible’ errors here; the light is not one of them.

      On closer examination, I think it’s a bit of background. Her genuine legs are the one going straight down, and the one propped up on the amp, the thing that appears to be a middle leg is an oddly lit part of the wall behind her, which is of very similar color to her pants.

    this is not a psd – nothing wrong with her legs/ nothing wrong with her arm that is behind her back/ nothing wrong with her guitar (light is obviosuly coming from front and back – see reflection in mic-stand)
    Its just a funny angle – PSD you have to do better MUCH BETTER
    HECK i sent you one (of Black Adder) but you aint chucked that up – at-least its a PSD

    It’s two pictures mashed together – one of her sitting and playing the guitar (see bottom right corner, you can easily spot her lap) and one of her standing.

    Why is everything being put under “baroque anatomy” now? For instance, shouldn’t this be inadvertent amputation? Completely swallows up the pun of the tag– do the new blog owners have a dictionary handy to find the definition of “baroque?”

    Mic stand in front of guitar, multiple light sources.
    Pretty sure I can see a guitar strap there, hiding in the shadows and hair.

    For now, I’m sticking with failed picking of a disaster.

    For any of you who didn’t bother to see the full-size image posted below, the leg on the right side of the picture (her left) is obviously only one leg. the problem with this Ps (other than the blatantly obvious missing arm) is that the lighting effect on the right was photoshopped onto the image over everything else while the one on the left is correct. the neck of the guitar doesn’t show any shadowing from overpowering light like the back of the guitar and her left leg (the one on your right, for morong that can’t comprehend directions) do. I agree with Abe though, forest for trees.
