        Could be worse, he could have said ‘Wow. Just wow.’ But ‘so much wrong in one place’? Hardly – this isn’t a photoshop disaster at all. Please point out all the many wrong things about this image.

        I’m not about to tell the world that I’m unsubscribing in a violent rage, but this does make me want to start a fuckyeahbananas tumblr and post nothing but strawberries and pineapples even when I get dozens of user submissions of perfectly good banana photos. Of course, we’re not owed anything (although we’re proving countable hits in order to attract paid advertising), so it could be argued that we’re getting exactly what we pay for.

          What if I don’t really know what bananas should look like or how they come to be, but my gut tells me that they are exactly like pineapples?

            If you knowingly send me a photo of a pineapple, I will not post it. I mean, come on! Read the blog title! It’s fuckyeahbananas. However, if you genuinely suffer from banana agnosia and send me a photo of a pineapple in the mistaken belief that it’s actually a banana, then I’ll think of some lame post title, publish it and sit back and laugh as all my followers whip themselves into an impotent rage over the quality of my posts and the continued lack of banana action.

        I really should have explored this comments widget for some kind of notification system… Because I’ve been following this blog for about 2 years and this was my first ever comment.. And the intent was trolling, pure and simple, (thrashing, really, sounds “more right”), so it was indeed very satisfying to come here a week later, diligently obeying my RSS Reader, and find this marvelous thread following my empty, shallow (you got me there!..) comment.
        So thank you!
        We can ponder on some of the amazing pictures to come about the “Where’s Wally” effect these posts seem to have on people.. And then again no: here, I really like just watching!

    Levitation is no problem It’s cosmetics, right? Cosmetics and magic are all about fooling the eye, about being all show and no go, about paying way too much for secrets. There’s no way around it: they’re both a bit of fun.

    But where the hell’s the PS disaster? This is no accident; someone did just what they were told to do. Don’t blame the poor grunt for art misdirection.

        Grunts have been grunts since the bad old days when one’s most valuable tools were an x-acto knife, a tub of colored markers, and a brayer. At least then they could walk from the bench to the camera occasionally. You think computers have made it any better? They’ve just shrunk the cubicle for more efficient soul-loss.

        The ones who have sunk too deeply into it call themselves artists. It’s not art; it’s grunt work. The true artists only use Illustrator.

      So let me sum up. You’ve just seen one of the worst examples of Photoshop butchery. It looks like someone attempted a photo collage of 3 different shots of possibly different women, and you will STILL say “Where the hell’s the PS disaster?”

      When presented with the genuine article, people who would have given Kosmo a round of applause are STILL trolling. I think people have forgotten what humans are supposed to be shaped like and were just praising anything Kosmo did.

      To borrow a phrase: Obvious trolls are obvious.
