Most recent 'prank' on teen 'musician' Justin Bieber has been revealed as a hoax. But not before thousands of teenage girls shaved off their own eyebrows.

  Actually it helps. Not everyone has the time and drive to over examine Justin Biebers face to find it. Also, the captions on this site are the worst. Not usually very intuitive, and not usually very funny.

      @Waldobaby I agree, they need to be so detached that they don’t care who they insult, similar to South Park. A couple of psd’s ago they did some Russain text that was not even actual words, that was awesome it created such an stir.
      
      Oh and the eyebrows remind me of Keria Knightley’s eyebrows in her crap version of Pride and Prejudice (It was on TV recently and my wife watched it any way, then preceded to watch the 6hr BBC production as she loves it) – Two little black noticeable catapillars, that are different shades of colour to the hair.

I love all the Internets, each and every one. They have to be the reason that people nowadays take totally trivial graphic artifacts and call them DISASTERS. The big_red_circle_of_death is positive proof that it’s only a disaster because someone said so (Hey, Frankie, what you wanna mark on this picture, eh?).

God knows what would happen if a person were to look at an advert and not see anything because some desperate blogger hadn’t decided that something was a terrible disaster and marked it for the poor idiots like me that didn’t see it.

What ever happened to the concept of PhotoShop Disasters? It’s been replaced by the concept of desperation. What next, a single stray pixel?

Can someone explain the caption? If it’s a hoax, then it’s not a prank? So, it’s real? Real prank? Or real hoax? Or just real?
So, then, if someone also shaved off their eyebrows, were they pranked? Or not?
And why is ‘prank’ in quotation marks? Does the “author” mean to suggest that it’s not a prank? Then, if it wasn’t a prank to begin with, where’s the hoax?

Is this caption a prank? Are we being pranked into thinking it should make sense?

Just like we should believe that whatever is posted here is automatically a PhotoshopDisaster, we should also believe that all captions here are funny (funny as in amusing, not funny as in “perplexing” the way this one is).

Maybe there should be a link (kind of like “click here for PSD” but “click here for caption”) to some sort of explications of the wit contained within the captions.

  There was just as much whining when Cosmo ran PsD–the significant difference is that his captions, comments and even category assignments were generally funny as hell. The combination of imaging mistakes with his commentary made the site.
  
  The new guys just aren’t as funny or are funny in a different way, which is not an attack on them just an observation. Comedy is really hard and if someone doesn’t have the right quirky mindset it won’t work.

Oh yes! I assume the prank referred to was the shaving of the eyebrow, proved to not be a prank at all but a hoax using photoshop.

The expectations of the readers of this blog are many and varied. Some would like big red circles pointing out the ‘disaster’ others would like the captions to explain all the disasters but in a witty and snide way, while others expect the captions to make sense. The real disaster would be if there were nothing to whine about.
