Vampire Drearies: Goiter Be Kidding Me

“What we have here is a classic example of a life threatening pneumothorax: – tracheal deviation with an asymmetric thoracic pressure. Hand me that speculum, nurse, I’m going in.”

Thanks Heather for the great catch! You can see the original here. If you can’t see the PSD, please check out our red image gallery that contains the marked up version.

If more victims had such invitingly long throats there would be lots more vampires. With a neck like that she might as well be wearing a sign “Please puncture my jugular vein and drink my blood”.  By YoMamma

Not a PSD. You guys are pushing it. It’s more fun to come here a see how bad your judgement is these days.

    • Afg

You honestly don’t see the giraffe neck? I thought that was obvious.

      • Guest

It seems the shadow from the guy resting on her chest makes it look like she has an extra long neck, but that’s it.

        • Tyler

Yep, and the shadow on the side of her neck facing us is where her shoulder starts.

I don’t buy it. Far as I can tell her shoulder and her clavicle are below the left guy’s chin, giving her about a six inch neck.

          • Tyler

You can see it’s her shoulder, everything below that is out of focus because it’s closer to the camera.

Rotate the image 90° and it’s pretty obvious they’ve given her a giraffe neck to fit the left guy in.

          • doubter

I was all like ‘no photoshop here guys, move on, this site sux’ but then I rotated the picture as advised and I was all like ‘whoa freaky giraffe neck this site rulez’

Damn those shadows. I should learn how to use them too, I’ll look at least 2m tall :D

      • Guest

Besides that, doesn’t her ear look strange too?

        • Circularfile00

I was so distracted by the neck and the shadow on the sdie of it that makes her look like she has a huge lump, that I completely missed the ear – or whatever that growth is on the side of her head.

Some girls have pretty long necks. Does this one?

        Yep: http://www.imdb.com/media/rm513508608/nm2400045

-_- This is so embarrassing. I don’t know what kind of necks you PSD people have, but for the rest of human-kind, we have muscles at the side of our necks. If you try your hardest to flex it, you might be able to feel/see it, even if you’re a PSD’er.

  • dmplayer01

my bf would love me havin that long a neck :D

If anything I’d be concern about the hand that appears out of no where…

  • salty

Regardless of whether it’s elongated or not — it’s about vampires in any case so some creative license on prominent necks should be allowed for — the title and caption is implying that the fact that the neck isn’t airbrushed into 2-dimensional smooth texture and actually shows some potential neck muscles (OMG! the horror!) is somehow is a PSD.

Who’s looking at her neck when you’ve got Ian Somerhalder in the picture?…

  • yo momma

  • Lisa

Her neck looks alot like a male bicep.

  • Adlerski

PSD is not what it used to be.

    • yo momma

      Newsflash: Neither is anything else.

  • http://twitter.com/arnoen Arno Enzo

A lot of blood going through a neck that long… :D

  • Mordecai

I like the medical double entendre in the caption…

    • Scrapper

That would be a pun, not a double entendre.

I don’t see how this is a PSD. At first, it does look weird, but you have to look at the shadows. Where the shadow ends on the back of her neck is where her shoulders start. Those are called muscles.

    Seriously, PSD? :(

  • medical nerd

That’s the sternocleidomastoid, not the trachea, and that’s exactly were it is supposed to be.
    I’m disappointed PSD!

Speculum? Seriously? How is “going in” vaginally going to help her ..hrrm.. pneumothorax..?
Maybe a laryngoscope or even an emergency trache kit would be more helpful; IF she was actually suffering from upper airway problems.
Pneumothorax: release air in the pleural space by inserting catheter/cannula into the pleural space between the ribs and the lung will be able to expand again.

However, this woman doesn’t look like she has any breathing problems… She just looks horny and maybe with a slightly longer neck than average.
