Tina Fey: Does My Head Look Big In This?

big head
Hey, just delete all that stuff to the right of the pole – no-one will notice. Easier than using the liquify tool to help her lose weight. Just add plenty of shadow. Perfect! Oh and give her more head…
Thanks to everyone who sent this in! You can see the original here. If you can’t see the PSD. please check out our marked up image within our gallery.

the truth is. I really dont see much of a Photoshop disaster there. I do wish they had put her in her trademark glasses, though.

If you don’t think this is a PSD then you’re looking at a different picture to me. It’s just awful, she couldn’t look more like a cardboard cut out.

I do not know Tina Fey but I trust that she does not look anything like that. For a start, she may even have a body that is not completely flat & unidimensional.

        PsD it IS!

you mean because of the white tube that is covering her, making one side look linear? or what I dont get the psd.

Oh, poor Tina. While cutting off her left side is bad enough, what did they do to her *face?* It’s like they reassembled it from parts.

    • davidikus

They presumably tested all these beauty products on her. Result.

They do really work; just in unexpected manners!

That is not just a poll you are seeing. It is a piece of wood that is cut out on the top and painted white that is hiding the rest of her chest area.

Some of the PSDs lately have been dubious, but this one is just a mess in several ways at once. It frightens me that things like this go to press without anyone realizing.

Dubious. I think some of them are some of the best we have seen in a while. I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion.

      • No

“best we’ve seen in a while” is like saying that Revenge Of The Sith is your favourite out of the Star Wars prequels.

Mister claw and the basket of spare baby parts were pretty good. So that’s 3 decent ones in a row. Now approaching longest series of the year…

      • Kat

You misunderstood, Vernon. That was a compliment.

Why? Why why why why? Why is she holding a white stick thing? Why is her neck so thick? I didn’t even recognize this as Tina Fey at first.

  • Marcy

The pole has a shadow, but her hand does not? If they were going to randomly add shadows, why didn’t they add some shadow so she wouldn’t look like she had the chest of a 14 year boy?

And, sure, the face looks weird because, like all other magazines with female stars on the cover, it is standard to photohsop out all wrinkles, even ones that make sense (like the ones near eyes when people smile). Or maybe she is a victim of botox.

I’m a big fan of 30 Rock, but I didn’t even realize this was supposed to be Tina Fey at all until I saw the name. I think this might be the first time a magazine has used an entirely different model for a photo shoot and then tried to photoshop their features to look like the person they actually interviewed (and, like everything else about this picture, they failed). I mean, I can understand why magazines will try to remove imperfections and even paste someone’s head onto a different body, but there is no way that the person in this picture was ever Tina Fey. It looks a lot more like Megan Mullally or Melanie Lynskey.

Her shirt seems to be floating above her right shoulder, like part of her shoulder has been carved away. Her fingers look stubby and misshapen (Gumbyesque?), even the nails look weird.

    How is that her hip?

It might just be me… But I found when I angled my laptop screen, I could actually see the photoshop brush marks on her face… Anyone else see that?

I dont get it. whats wrong with the white tube??

On page 157 of her new book Bossypants, Tina Fey says “I feel about Photoshop the way some people feel about abortion. It is appalling and a tragic reflection on the moral decay of our society… unless I need it, then everybody be cool.”
