NO PSD!!!  This is just a simple magic trick.

i dont think its a psd.. think it was on purpose… i think it looks cool

  • Dross2

Not a PSD. I’ve seen this poster many times in Ibis hotels; it’s one of a series, and in all the posters the item being “held” is floating in this manner.

    • Llyr

While intentional surrealism has a long history in advertising, it usually serves a purpose. In this case, I cannot help but wonder if the series wasn’t initially inspired by incompetence. As far as I can tell, that’s how most advertising is developed, anyway.

  • Jp Online

unfortunately, that doesn’t look like a clock, but like a ‘stopwatch’ so doesn’t that really indicate 15 seconds?

    • Waldobaby

JP, it all depends on your stamina.

What stamina do you mean @Waldobaby:disqus ….?

    • Ty

It’s a pocketwatch. Although I have a similar watch/stopwatch and it’s the same. The little dial in the middle of the face shows the seconds, the main face shows minutes.

      • Sascha

And your pocket watch doesn’t have a hour dial and hours on the face either?

        • Ty

There’s two hands on the small face. One does hours, the other does seconds.

  • photoshopdisastersdisaster

Yeah, it’s a series of adverts with things floating in their hands – they are not trying to make it look like it’s really in his hand.

  • pilgrim

even if it is supposed to be floating, isn’t the hand to elbow to shoulder ratio incredibly disproportionate?

  • Ty

This site’s been really batting a zero lately, huh? This, the bellboy, Oprah, the iced tea, all on the first page.

    • Mordecai

Come on…Oprah with a man’s hand growing out her ass was classic!

      • Ty

And also just Jamie Foxx standing behind her. If that’s classic then I don’t know what to tell you, other than LOOK, THIS GUY’S GOT BUNNY EARS! PSD!

Thanks a lot for sharing this nice post! excellent job :)

  • Ismahel

I see more bizarre the face of the guy…. one side is flipped or what in the name of god they tried to do?

While advised surrealism has a continued history in advertising, it usually serves a purpose. In this case, I cannot advice but admiration if the alternation wasn’t initially aggressive by incompetence. As far as I can tell, that’s how a lot of commercial is developed, anyway.

Anyone look at that and immediately think, “Oh hey, it’s that watch-obsessed serial killer Sylar from Heroes! I’m glad to see he’s finding work.”? No? Just me, then.

Stay in the city is divided into distinct Luxury Hotels and affordable budget hotels. Luxury Hotels are intended for those who do not hesitate to spend a few extra bucks for the attainment of luxury.

One of the most important aspects of the hotel hotel reservation software is software. Facilitating the process of engagement is very important and will attract more people to your hotel.

Generators and readers are not the same. Generators, which actualise QR Codes from a URL you blazon in, usually abide on the Internet and are attainable through a browser.

This is not a photoshop disaster. When I first saw this at a hotel last year, I found it absolutely hilarious, and was planning on sending it to this website. However, I then looked on the other images on the leaflet this was printed on and found staff making various objects levitate in their hands. It’s meant to make them levitate, they wouldn’t just be holding the objects anyway, would they? The whole point of the poster is the levitation. SO NOT A PSD.

(by the way, that jshook post was genius.)
