Long Beach: “Them”

large dolphins

Latest remake of the horror classic has dolphins that have mutated in the nuclear testing zone to 50 times normal size. “They only wanted to play”…

Thanks Erica. The original was found in an AAA magazine. If you can’t see the PSD, please check out our marked up image.

If it was on SyFy, it would be titled Mega Delphinus or Dino Delphinus vs Mega Salmonidae.Starring Martika and Jaleel White as marine biologists trying to stop a luxury resort from being built by the evil MurdochCorp.  And there’d have to be an earthquake of some sort.

Don’t forget the ghosts and wrestlers, jeneria.

Why did you pull the “grabbing hand from nowhere” one?

    • gemma

Apparently there were dancers under the stage sticking their arms out, so what looked like a perfect PSD was actually an accurate image.

After years spent unsuccessfully trying to get a photo of Big Foot, the photographer gave up and decided to concentrate on the lesser known Giant Dolphins of Long Beach.  He balanced on his bouy out in the cold Pacific Ocean for weeks hoping the giant dolphins would swim into the edge of his shot (he needed the buildings in the shot to prove how large the dolphins were).  He thought he had finally gotten the photo that would put him into the immortal catagory, like Ansel Adams and Annie Liebowitz.  It was bad enough that his photo was used in an a travel ad, but now he is being accused of not just photoshopping, but badly photoshopping.

Update: the photographer now works at Dennys in Des Moines, after being fired from his job at the photo studia at Sears for taking too long to “take the damn picture, already.”.
