Yoga: Eight Angles Three Feet

Press your hands to the floor and bring your foot, no your other foot – no not that one the other foot…

Thanks Susan. You can see the original here.

    There is no disaster here!

You know, I knew there had to be someone in the world with three feet and two legs :)

      • Sdfsdfs

Like the first commenter I can’t see where you’ve got 3 feet from, the ball of the left foot is visible above the awkwardly angled toes. It’s not an extra foot though.

        • Bargonzo

If this girl only has two feet, then her left (um… yes, left) foot is size 20, hideously elongated and horribly broken in several places…

          • Waldobaby

Then she must have one seriously nasty spasm in her arch. Where? Three feet to the right.

        • blubb

if this is the ball then the foot has to be pretty long and a bit deformed. i always knew, yogo isn’t good for you^^

If you go to the original image, you can actually enlarge it with ImageZoom. There are only two feet – no PSD.

      • Sandpunk

You’re just wrong man I (and most rational sober people) are counting 2 feet,

  • Spoilsport

I suspect this might just be a very convincing optical illusion. At first you can’t see anything but three feet, but once you realise that the toes on the left foot are bent up, you can see how it works.

What adds to the illusion is that the legs are pointing forwards so the feet appear very large, but the angle of her right foot reduces the foreshortening effect relative to the left.

I can’t see what Photoshopping would add to this picture so have to assume it’s a genuine and unfortunate angle.

  • rayman

Yup. Two feet. And strong thighs :)

  • KamatsuKyoto

    PsD FAIL

  • Twatiana

Uh, no disaster here. That’s what the pose looks like.

This picture makes it clearer, thanks for posting.   I had to star at it for a few minutes until I could finally see how it could be only two feet.  It’s is kind of like those “Magic Eye” pictures from the ’90s.

Hey Vernon, is there any way you could post enlargements with the “if you can’t see the PSD, click here” link?

    • Sdfsdfs

Excellent reference image, wish I had found it earlier instead of having to suffer the wrath of 2 commenter who can’t imagine what a foot looks like if it’s slightly upside down. I’m talking to you blubb and Bargonzo

    • Blu-Ray

so, how long is her left foot again?

    • Peanut

Thanks for posting the larger pic.  After staring at it for several minutes, I could see it truly is just an optical illusion.  At a quick glance though it really looks like she has three feet.

Some yoga poses look strange in photographs. This is one of them–no photoshop necessary

  • Ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuubens

    3 feet? i can’t see shit, i don’t think this is a PSD guys

  • http://twitter.com/farlakes God

assume position. This makes me wonder what “position 69″ would look like with a girl like this…

  • Laret

I do yoga, that pose is perfect, no photoshop.

  • Pip

Heh, it really does look like three feet unless you zoom right in! That lady is super stretchy.

  • Guest

um… this is my yoga teacher, and she does this pose in class all the time. that’s just what this looks like people

    • Peanut

      Your instructor has 3 feet?

      • Marsnerok

what the furk are you seeing as the third foot? it just looks like one foot is locked onto the other with with her toes in order to keep the position. is that what you guys looking at. i don’t see any photoshopping done here. just looks like a complicated yoga pose!

        • Marjorielondon

          Erm. Count the toes.

  • Ginger

Not a PSD. Her toes are bent up at an angle.

Some people really insist on seeing what’s not there.
There is nothing wrong with her legs/feet/toes, that’s just a tricky picture angle.
