Yes we know, we know, an AI Disaster not PS – but funny how much work has gone into Tron and his fun adventures and the carefully crafted zip… oops.

Perspective’s always wrong using geometry. That’s why games such as Farmville etc, (grid based) always look wrong. The dimensions are always craaaaap!

    • Morgan Harris

I think it’s more about the NOT FINAL NOT FINAL NOT FINAL NOT FINAL written across it.

    AI Disasters hmmmmm. Good idea.
Can you make new site so that I can Subscriberinging it…

  • Mordecai

The zip is facing forward instead of sideways. No wonder “not finished” is stamped across the Tron…

  • Cap K

not final not final not final not final not final not final not final not final not final not final not final

  • Fishmonger

This isn’t really a PSD, exactly, since I think someone took the markup art (for proofing the product design) and put it in on the site in place of a real photo… It’s… very questionable marketing.

    Not final. Expect another sequel.

  • JoMomma

The seam on the zipper begins on the lower left as a stitched line then kind of disappears only to show up again as a black line that wonders around on the top of the lunchbox.

  • Cropper

It would be fun to take a small owl to school in that lunch box for show and tell

so if that is the ‘not final-not final-not final-not final-not final-not final-not final-not final-not final-not final’ -version, it kinda makes me wonder what the final-version would look like…Pink with “HelloKitty” written on it?

Actually this isn’t a PSD disaster at all!!!

This is a ‘visual’ the merchandising company sends to the owner of the brand so that they approve the design and layout of the merchandising… The ‘visuals’ are often quite primitive…most are because of timing constrains… (I should know I actually do this for a living…)

Most of the times there’s no physical samples to send to the distributing companies and the visual is sent to ‘make do’.

    So…no PSDisaster for me…

    • Marcy

And if it wuld have stayed as just a visual only to be seen by the people writing the check, then it would not be a PsD for me either, but it was used in an ad add for Toy R Us, which changes things.  It may not be the photoshopper’s fault, but we still get to make fun of it.

And since it did appear in an ad, we can’t be sure that it wasn’t the photoshoppers end product.

Someone had a deadline. Someone was desperate. Someone had to use SOMETHING. Someone found a concept sketch back in Wendil’s office trash. Someone said “fuck it…” Someone then went home, said “hello” to Jack Daniels, and systematically wiped the whole day from organic memory.

Yeah i don’t know, crazy guy

  • Nefertiti

WTH, this is not a PSD, this is a marketing disaster. These designs are not supposed to get out of offices, they are layout designs, not for product sale. Should’ve never got out in the first place. Imagine you do a rough sketched design for a product, and somehow it finds its way on a seller’s website. Someone screwed up, and it’s not the artist.
