Dunhams Sports: Leaping Lemon

Not a PSD.  This is just conceptual art for the next installment in the Star Trek motion picture franchise.  Shown here, what appears to be a trampoline of some sort is actually a portable holodeck.  They’re all the rage on Ceti Alpha V!

Thanks LA LA for the awesome find. The more I look at this PSD the more awesome it gets and the girl looks like someone that was cut out of a photo taken in the 90s. You can find the original on the Dunham’s Sports site.

I like the idea of that combination of a trampoline and a screen to view old super 8 movies.

It’s an Art Direction fail to me.

I’m starting to thing you should have an ADdisasters side site.

Not a PsD.  It is an optical illusion,  It looks like the girl is jumping on the trampoline and they screwed up by removing all the background except what was covered by the net.  However, the colorful part is actually on the outside of the trampoline.  It is not a net, it is canvas.  You cannot see through it.  They photographed it in a white room so consumers could see what the picture looks like.  The supposed purpose for the outer shell is so the trampoline will blend into your yard and not be an eyesore.  Personally, I think that if they want it to blend in, they should have not used red for the pad cover.

Of course, blending in is only the purpose given in the ads, it is not the real purpose.  Who would buy a trampline with an outer shell that prevents them from seeing their kids jumping on it – it is a safety hazard.  The real reason for the non-see-through shell is so people can do things (drug parties, wild orgies, etc) on the trampoline and the neighbors can’t watch.

BTW, if you think this picture is goofy-looking, you should see the one they used on the back side.

its not just the BG, its a failed composite as well, upper arms of a trampoline don’t fit with its legs,
oh yeah – and the model is fake too

    • Waldobaby

They say that’s a girl. Who would use a model that looks like Steven Wright finally letting loose?

  • some random guy

Someone just went crazy with the magic wand tool

What are they thinking!? Whodahell is going to buy some hyperdimensional tesseract if they can’t control the Nth-room view?!
Nothing is wrong with this picture because the picture IS wrong.

Do you think this will make PSD of the year?

  • Windspear

I still dont get it. Can you put a red circle around the PSD?
