Vogue: Disembodied Disaster

Not a PSD. The ‘floating’ head is actually a goiter attached to the actual head of the woman to the right. An expert makeup artist and wig wrangler were brought in to disguise the hideous growth when no replacement model could be found.

Either this model is floating in the lotus position, or this is a PSD. I like a scenario where this girl is dating the GA, who promised he’d get her on the cover of Vogue somehow… and this was how.

Thanks to Cynthia and her daughter for the find. The original can be found in the latest version of Vogue Paris.

looks to me as though the artist has removed her legs to retain the shape of the legs of the girls in front.
In my opinion, not a disaster but artistic license.

When there’s a severed head floating around in the image, that’s still a disaster, artistic license or no.

Composition is a bit strange too. Like someone would have just learned how to attach text to images.

Oh, that’s just Heddy!  She floats around in the fashion industry.  Bit of a hanger-on, if you want to know the truth.

The fashion disaster is far worse than the Photoshop disaster. Who the hell would wear something like that?!

That’s just the Borg Queen waiting for one of the Collective to roll her body underneath so she can be fully mobile.
