Bauhaus: Forklimbs

Elke is one of the best workers the garden department has ever seen, not to mention one of the most punctual.  If only she would stop bothering all of the customers about the whereabouts of some ‘Sarah Connor’ woman, she’d be a shoe-in for Employee of the Month.

Before anyone else says it, I’ll state right now that I believe the manipulation of this girl’s arms to resemble the tines of a forklift is completely intentional.  Having said that, how does that excuse the fact that her right hand is bass-ackwards?  Something is fishy in Denmark, and it ain’t the fertilizer.

Thanks Richard. You can see the original in the Bauhaus catalog (page 2). View PSD

What the heck have they done to her fore arms???  I can´t decide which one is the worst PSed… :-S

Bauhaus has always seemed to me to be crummy design with a good spit shine on it. Now that I see they also are really big on horse fertilizer, it all finally comes together for me.

However, that said, how does forking up her arms go all disasterly bad because of the hands?

I hope she remembered to lift with her legs!

    She’s a pretty awesome forklift

She’s been eating to much fertilizer. She should branch into a different career.

    Syntax error:  it’s “shoo-in”.

I’m thinking Denmark will be a favorite for the gold in the women’s clean-and-jerk event this summer in London.

feel deeply offended.. I sent you this one 2 years ago… Actually, at that time, her left arm was just not there. She was lifting the whole thing with just one arm! I just love it!!!

Her left arm is clearly visible along the bottom of the last bag of potting soil.  Stretched out, and it appears she has only 3 very long and skinny fingers on that hand.
