Möbelpiraten: Breach of Reach

Vorteil 3:  All medical expenses covered should one of your own limbs be horribly disfigured as a result of attempting to install our cheap mismatched cabinet parts yourself.

Without question, this young lady’s arm cannot be so freakishly long.  Just as bad, though, is how the drop shadow from the chalkboard falls equally upon her shoulder and upper arm, fingertips, the flat yellow background, and the kitchen floor, as well!

Thanks Heiko. The original publication was created for the furniture store “Möbelpiraten” in Hessen, Germany.

Not to mention nail polish on one hand and not the other.

I never paint my all my nails the same color. My wife say that’s okay.

Surely  this is Photoshopped badly , but if you study proportions of the human body your elbow is at the level of your hip, and your arm extends  to your knees. Her  left arm is proportional and if you measure, her right arm is, too, though it looks exceptionally freakish and I would never pay for this photograph.

Spoken like a true austral anthropithecus!

So I stood up and let my arms hang by my sides and my hands only made it to mid thigh.  I have never been told that I have extremely long legs, or even just long legs, so now I am met with the realization that I have horribly short arms and I am surprised that people don’t stare at me as I walk down the street.  I am trying desperately to find some comfort in the fact that at least both my arms are the same size, unlike the model in the ad, who has one normal arm and one horribly short one.

This is the sort of work that proves that the designer and the customer have just given up.

It just proves that they just didn’t add enough cleavage.
The arm is mostly hidden behind the board, there is no reason for the average person to stare at that ad, and especially at the arm, long enough to notice it.
“Good enough” saves time and money, whether it’s highway billboards or overloaded-with-information ads…

If she stood with both arms to her side, one would hit around her right knee.  I’d like to see that picture!  HEH

Is she the real Mrs. Stretch Armstrong???

I think this is Thing making another appearance.

It is not a PsD. There is another person standing behind the yellow wall holding up one end of the sign (hence the nail polish discrepancy).  Either they made the sign too large for one person to hold or the model is missing her forearm (and probably her hand too).  The model is also a vampire as proven by the fact that she has no shadow, despite the amazing shadow cast by the sign (or maybe she is a famous celebrity and all the flashes were pointed at her).

She should go into Law Enforcement: The Long Arm of the Law!

She doesn’t have to bend over to tie her shoes.
