Photoshop Quiz: Elle: Jessica Simpson

For this months quiz we have an image of Jessica Simpson who we believe was 6 months pregnant at the time. A ton of pregnant mothers claim that Jessica’s legs have been overly Photoshopped and we’d like to see what you think.

Vote below as to whether you think Elle went a little crazy with the Photoshop.

Be sure to leave a comment as to why you thinks it’s a disaster.

Target: Hands Off

With all the times “Thing” has featured on the site I’m starting to think that the Photoshop gods are playing with us.

Anybody want to take us through what happened here?
Thanks Chris. You can see the original on the Target Australia Facebook page.

BESTWEEKEVER.TV: FRASIER FAIL

Actor Kelsey Grammer was disappointed when his latest TV project, “Cooking With Kelsey,” failed to earn him that coveted  15th Emmy nomination.

Not much explanation required here.  I’m mainly curious about what Kelsey’s hands were up to before the bad layering work took place.  Maybe he was pointing at himself with both thumbs and saying, “Who rode the Frasier Crane Train so long he can’t find acceptance within the public mind in any other role?  This guy!”

Thanks Eduard. You can see the original on the BestWeekEver site.

McCALL’S: PHYSICS PHAIL

“I’m a horrible mother!” thought Billy’s mom as she watched her son perform his tricks sans helmet.  Her self-loathing quickly abated, however, when she realized the new spray starch she was trying out was living up to all the hype.

The logic behind the decision to market sewing patterns for children’s wear by having them modeled worn upside-down is beyond me, but then again, what the hell do I know?  Maybe this will start a new trend and we can look forward to watching hot supermodels show off the latest fashions in Milan while performing a trapeze act. (Net not included.)

Thanks Jamie for the find! You can see the original the McCall site.

TACO DEL MAR: GNARLY SKILLS

A telltale sign that tensions had eased between the two universes was the formation of the Joint Fringe Division Surfing Club.

Obviously, there are many liberties being taken with various Photoshop tools to create a very poor illusion of more surfers than actually exist.  What intrigues me is the ‘why’ behind the image.  I’m gonna go with a scenario where the manager had a small photo of surfers, but was too cheap to have it framed because he already had this really wide frame in his attic that would fit the space perfectly, and… that’s when Javier, the cook-slash-graphic arts student, decided to make his big move.

Thanks Michael. The original was found at a Taco del Mar restaurant in Washington state.

RENAULT: ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT

ROAD TRIPPING is a zany new comedy series about four incompetent graphic artists who bounce from one town to the next in a madcap search for meaningful romance and stable employment.  Cast includes “that guy from SCRUBS” and “the girl who played one of the moms on that CHRISTINE show – no, not her, the other one.”

So many PSD’s, so little time.  My favorite is the blonde girl’s missing reflection in the pool/fountain/whatever at the bottom of the screen.  There’s plenty more, but I’ll leave the rest of the fun of pointing them out to you guys. How many disasters can you find and what’s your favorite?

Thanks Michiel. You can find the original on the AutoWeek site.

LECLERC: SHADY ‘SHOP SKILLS

The latest thing in patio furniture now offers customers a choice between an innovative ‘shadeless’ umbrella (shown here), and the more traditional shadow-casting version, (no longer in stock).

Never mind the missing umbrella shadow.  What patio set does anyone know of that comes with eight chairs?!  Maybe this photo represents the optional ‘Catholic’ upgrade.  Whatever the case, they should at least include a year’s supply of SBF-60 sunblock, no?

Thanks General Pepper!
