Photoshop Quiz: Monte Carlo: Anatomy Fail?

In the last few weeks we’ve received the  Monte Carlo poster a bunch of time with fans telling us Selena Gomez (girl in the white dress) anatomy seems off. Take a look below and tell us whether you see something wrong.

    The girl in the white dress is Selena Gomez. She looks like she’s sitting in a chair with a very low seat and a high ridge for her knees, but otherwise I don’t see much wrong. The girl in blue–don’t know who she is–looks like she has a hoof instead of a foot and has the same ‘bent over really far’ look.

    The face and the hair didn’t come from the same photo. The hair might be from the same image as the torso/arms, but they’re not connected to those legs at all.

    And with the names, it’s standard hollywood poster/contract stuff. The biggest star has the first name on the poster, regardless of where they are in the picture.

    Head a smidge too large and her feet are oversized….even if she were sitting in a low seat, not porportionate

      Or she has very long and fat kneecaps. Maybe she is resting her arms on the ever elusive owl.

      Put one arm across your lap, then rest the elbow of your other arm on the first one. It won’t be touching the knee but will be slightly above it.

    Face/head swap with the model among other things but the swap is the most glaring thing to me

    Her shoulders and torso look small, as if her body were leaning away from the camera, but then HEY there are her knees!

    Anatomy is fine. Scrubbing the away the skin tone with acid is the disaster. Miss Meester gives me goosebumps. Usually she’s a cute pretty woman.

    To me, there’s some discord with how Selena Gomez is propping her right arm on a knee that isn’t there. I imagine that they had multiple images of her sitting this way, and they got one with a good shot of her face, and another with a good spread on her dress, and tried to Frankenstein them together with lackluster results. It gives the impression that she has extremely long fingers on that hand also, since you see her wrist behind her arm, and the middle of her hand on the other side.

    Shucks. I voted in the minority. I would assume that a major motion picture company would hire a professional photographer who would painstakingly take the time to set up the shot to please his client. After all, it’s big money.

    It is possible that Selina’s dress is higher than her knee because it is bunched up by a lot of petticoats. And there rests her hand.

    But, it is a quiz so I’m not sure what is what. She is a pretty girl, no?

    Gammy foot on far left – stunted toe. Girl in white? Face doesn’t match body for tone, neck to long / upright for this pose. Hand is having NO impact on face. Unfortunate they felt the need to crowbar the dress so short at the front when it’s so long everywhere else, as the bunched up dress is missing from her middle. Hair too plasticky. Oh and the film looks shite too.

    Her anatomy looks plausible – one could certainly sit like that – but I don’t think she was ever sitting on that stack of suitcases. The angle of her body is nowhere close to what it would need to be to sit like that, and I think that’s what makes it look weird.
