This isn’t as bad as some movie poster submissions we’ve received, but you guys have been lighting our inbox up with it.

America’s hallowed house hasn’t looked this bad since 1812. Granted, if there’s something you don’t want to make look too realistic, it’s the White House burning down.

Nice find by Andrew.

Actually, the White House burned down in 1814. It’s commonly thought that the War of 1812 is called such because it happened in a single year, 1812, but on the contrary, the war lasted for 32 months from 1812-1815 and is called this name, at least partially, because it started in 1812. Just saying…

Somebody help me out here. What’s the problem? Is it that the fire doesn’t look 100% real?

NO idea… maybe the flag on the bottom or the fire… I thinks this is a “PSD-D”

“if there’s something you don’t want to make look too realistic, it’s the White House burning down.”
In INDEPENDENCE DAY, when the aliens blew up the White House, the whole theater burst out in a cheer. Anyhow, this is another in a continuing series of AD disasters being called PS disasters.
