Ann Taylor: D’em hips

High-waisted fashion has gone too far. I’ve always wanted dancer’s legs – but at what cost?

Photoshop Disasters

For a “perfectly proportioned [giraffe] silhouette,” toss on these bikini bottoms. They even promise full bottom coverage – which is a real deal, when you consider the extra coverage for someone with human hips.

Thanks L. You can see the original on the Ann Taylor site.

Budget Blinds: The custom touches

My whole life I’ve searched for a woman who’s guaranteed to be as poor a dancer as I am.

Photoshop Disasters

Any idea if the jewelry-buffet hiding the models second left foot makes sense? Well, as much sense as a bowl filled with bowls of various necklaces can make sense…

Thanks Home!

H&M : HIPSTER GOOFUS

As life-like as the female version of the T-1000 may seem, the most reliable method of distinguishing them from humans continues to be the catwalk.

What’s with this girl’s right hip? I’ve seen less contour on a melon baller. And why is she dressed like a slutty server at Baskin-Robbins? Yes, miss, I’d like a scoop of mocha chip with some chocolate sprinkles and your phone number, please.

Thanks Jade! You can find the original on the H&M site.

HANRO SHAPEWEAR: HIPPY CHICK

Daring?  Bold?  Repulsive?  No matter what your reaction, Erika has set the fashion world abuzz as the heroic vanguard of the neo-centaur look.

Some women have a little ‘junk in the trunk,’ to be sure, but this girl may be legally required to hang a yellow ‘WIDE LOAD’ sign whenever she goes mobile.  The bra section of this dress also demonstrates the amateur-level skills of the GA responsible for this disaster.  For his/her sake, I sincerely hope this model never finds out where that person lives.

17 Ragazze: Baby Bump Blooper

This woman is so conservative, even her fetus leans to the hard right.

How does such a large baby belly defy gravity so well?  Maybe this film’s location is set on the Moon.  Or perhaps the actress is actually pregnant, and the fetus is simply trying to flee out of camera range to avoid being connected in any way with the project.

John Frieda: Immacu-lame

For any man who has ever wondered how it feels to be a horny male black widow spider…

Yikes!  Talk about misdirection.  Because why else would you have a model give the camera such a stink-eye as this if not to distract from the creepy way her head appears to be turned?  It’s obviously a cut-n-paste from an entirely different shot where her head and shoulders face the lens straight on.  And while her “perfectly smooth hair” was no doubt the idea behind this perfectly smooth cutout, it’s a PSD because it’s simply too perfect, and nobody’s gonna buy either the product or the premise when it’s such an obvious fake.

Thanks Dee!

Ann Taylor: Minor Misstep

Not a PSD. This is a magician’s trick. And, yes, while their placement is backwards, the feet are fake and intended to distract the audience from noticing the two dwarf assistants wrangling a Bengal tiger into position under her dress for the ‘big reveal.’

The contour of this model’s right leg is clearly visible all the way from hip to about the mid-shin area, where I am fairly certain no joints exist that would explain how her right foot suddenly veers radically to the right and appears where it does.  Not sure exactly what occurred to cause this weird anomaly, but it’s wrong and may even be causing me seizures.

Thanks Emily for finding all those great Ann Taylor disasters! You can see the original on the Ann Taylor site.

Itau: Movistar: Blackboard Blunder

Here we have young Miguel, correctly estimating his maximum odds of ever winning an Olympic medal in boxing.

Yet another GA who seems to have skipped drawing class the week they concentrated on depth perspective.  Either that or this is one of the kid actors from Jurassic Park who somehow got his DNA tangled up with that of a T-Rex.

Thanks Juan. You can see the original on the Itau site.
