SDA: Political Forces

Accusing a politician of a being a cut-out isn’t the most original insult, but it’s never been more accurate than in this picture.

Photoshop Disasters

There’s a particularly flat-faced fellow on the left that looks like he went through a sandblaster. The best thing about these extra heads is the pose they would have to be in order to justify the missing legs.

Thanks Nebojsa. This poster is for the SDA (Stranka demokratske akcije/Party of the Democratic Action) party of Bosnia.

SILLY MONKEYS: QUESTIONABLE QUEUE

The new restaurant was a big hit. All of Gary’s Facebook friends showed up to the grand opening.

queue fail

The complete lack of shadows the GA neglected to add to this fabricated queue of “customers” is but one glaring giveaway of this disaster.  What I can’t decide is if each person is a separate layer, or if the entire lineup was lifted.

Thanks Kevin. You can see the original on the Silly Monkeys site.

DIPIU: BOGUS BAMBINO

Mama mia, that’sa one huge, ugly bambino, eh!  I think I cutta him outta, and putta inna smaller, prettier one, no?

What do you think, folks? The upper half of this baby looks like it’s actually there, but the right hand of the guy looks like he’s cradling something much larger than this kid. I say PSD because of that. Anyone know who the old guy is?

Thanks Veronica for the find. View PSD

IL GIORNALE: PAPAL PUSS

The power of mice compels you!  The power of mice compels you!

This is no PSD, nor is that cat levitating in mid-air.  The Holy Father happens to be a huge Flavor Flav fan.  Upon being asked by his staff what he’d like for his birthday, he replied in very poor English, “A large clock on a chain such as worn by that black cat in America.”  The staff, whose English was even worse, thought he’d said “frock” instead of clock, and, well… you can kind of take it from there.

Thanks Jabbawack. Title says: “A black cat in Vatican. It’s ‘Ciccio’*, the pope’s ‘friend”. The original was found in the Italian newspaper IL GIORNALE (owned by Berlusconi).

Semmering Xaver: Parking Violation

Nestled along the tranquil shores of Lake Renfield, the Transylvania Inn B&B has been voted the world’s top honeymoon destination for newlywed vampires.

Apparently, not only do vampires lack a reflection, but neither do their vehicles. Still, it’s mean to rag on a 9-year-old just beginning to play around with Photoshop, and this is pretty darn good work for a 9-year-old, so that is what I choose to believe is going on here. In fact, I’m gonna reward this promising young GA with a trip to the zoo!

Thanks Michael! You can find the original on the Semmering Xaver site (click through the navigation).

Kmart: Paste-a-Pooch

Introducing AfterPet®! The realistic, lifelike image of your family’s furriest member.  AfterPet® helps you keep your children in the dark about your pet’s personal ‘green mile’ until they’re safely into their self-involved teen years.  Simply place the custom AfterPet® image of your eternally happy pet on a stranger’s sofa, in a strange car, or laying in a meadow on that ‘wide-open ranch’ where you told them she went to live, snap a quick photo, and upload it via your mobile device with a note: “Ginger misses you!”

I’m assuming the product in this ad is the protective blanket upon which the non-existent mutt is laying.  I’m also assuming that nobody connected to this print shoot owned a dog any cuter than a Rottweiler, hence the decision to assign the snot-nosed intern to cut and paste in a Golden Retriever with a bootleg copy of Photoshop rather than hire a professional with the skills to make it look, uh… professional.

Thanks Jesse. You can see the original on the Kmart site.

BikeTart: Disaster At Hand

The design of Pugsley’s new bike didn’t allow for placement of a kickstand, so Fester suggested he take Thing along as a workaround.

Thanks John. You can see the original on the BikeTart Facebook page. It’s amazing how often Thing has showed up on PSD this year or maybe this photo would have looked more ridiculous if the hand wasn’t Photoshopped out?

Dunhams Sports: Leaping Lemon

Not a PSD.  This is just conceptual art for the next installment in the Star Trek motion picture franchise.  Shown here, what appears to be a trampoline of some sort is actually a portable holodeck.  They’re all the rage on Ceti Alpha V!

Thanks LA LA for the awesome find. The more I look at this PSD the more awesome it gets and the girl looks like someone that was cut out of a photo taken in the 90s. You can find the original on the Dunham’s Sports site.
