Alloy: The Cure for Tennis Elbow

The forearm’s connected to the… uh…

Photoshop Disaster

I’ve heard of needing a shoulder to lean on, but this is ridiculous. The unnecessary addition of a wooden corner in the lower right and a melting  fencepost really tie this hodge-podge of Photoshop disasters together.

Thanks Emma. The original was an email newsletter and you can see it here.

TOURISTS TREASURES: FREQUENT FLYER FAIL

It hurts a little at first, but then it starts to feel really good!

half body

More than anything, I love the eye mask in this image. Not only does the elastic strap have zero effect on the model’s apparently solid titanium locks of hair, but it’s not even centered on her face. It’s like time ran out during a challenge on a Japanese game show. Bring in Sayonara Mob!

Thanks Dee!

VOGUE CHINA: HALF-ASSED FAIL

Given a choice, I think I would much rather float than hop, too!

Poster Disaster

Someone needs to explain to this GA the difference between the shadow of a leg and an actual leg. This girl is either an amputee, or a school of piranha has chewed a hole through that raft and devoured her right leg all the way up to Christmas.

Thanks Eduardo. The original was found in the Vogue China June 2012 and the model is Doutzen Kroes.

NEIMAN MARCUS: SPOKES MODEL

Larissa was very excited to be cast in the lastest Star Trek film. Here she is posing between takes as “Ensign Petrova,” the hapless victim of a transporter malfunction.

Bike Fail

Forget the obvious clues of the missing hand and missing rear half of the bicycle. The real tell that this is fake is her shoes. No woman in the world would ever ride a bike in those high heels! Dummies.

Thanks Jonathan. You can find the original on the Neiman Marcus.

BODEN: PACHY-DERP

Hey, look what I just found on the other side of this interdimensional portal!

Okay, perhaps the GA figured we’d assume the fourth leg was a ‘sleeper’ behind the right front one.  It still doesn’t explain why there’s some rear half of Jumbo next to her head, but just empty space below her sleeve.

Thanks Dennis. You can see the original on the BODEN site.

OASIS: SOLE SURVIVOR

The bad news is that not only does Gabby have just a single right leg, but also a single left foot.  The good news is she qualifies for a 50% discount at nearly every pedicure salon in town.

Yet another one of these fashion shots where you can’t help but wonder what is going on underneath that dress!  Because it doesn’t seem to be an optical illusion, and yet I would not be surprised if she lifted up that hem to reveal Penn & Teller and a crapload of mirrors skillfully placed to throw us all off track.

Thanks Markus. You can see the original on the Oasis site. View PSD

TEATRO BEBEDOURO: PARTIAL POSTER

When America’s Got Talent announced Howard Stern was to be the new judge, Pitty added an original twist to her standard “disappearing assistant” trick.

Obviously, the only available photo of Gustavo for the GA to work with was his high school yearbook pic.  The decision to force that pic into this layout instead of simply eliminating Gustavo from the layout explains why there are always enough zebra lingering too long at the watering hole for the lions to target.

Thanks Vinícius. This is an advertising piece for a stage play being presented in a small town called Bebedour.
