Photoshop Round-Up: Links We Love

This week on PS Disasters, we featured a truly hair-raising disaster.  We also had a good laugh at Iran’s latest (failed) attempt at using Photoshop.

When we asked you what you thought of Stephanie Seymour’s thigh, 82% of you thought it was a bona fide disaster.  We’re the first to admit that sometimes we get it wrong, but hey, we’re only human.  Speaking of humans looking silly online….

Photoshop Round-Up: Links We Love

In case you didn’t notice, it was bikini week here at PS Disasters.  First we had this gorgeous lingerie model, who would be a perfect 10 if it weren’t for the fact that she has some kind of a paw instead of a hand.  Then we featured Alien Barbie, whose belly button was tragically lost in a freak airbrushing accident.  In other news, though we couldn’t agree how to spell Courteney Cox’s name, we all agreed that she looked a bit like a porpoise in this ad, albeit a porpoise with fabulous hair.

This week we learned that Barack Obama is distantly-related to Stretch Armstrong, whom we also suspect is the father of this Romwe model, though we can’t back that up.  We also saw Romeo Beckham learning to “bend it” like his dad, and we had some fun toying with Kanye and Kim in our latest Photoshop Fail Challenge.  Let’s see what else was happening in Photoshop Land this week.

Programming note: We have received this Christian Mingle advertisement from SO. MANY. READERS, and we love it.  Really.  Unfortunately, this image is just too small for us to feature as a full post here on psdisasters, but we agree with you, this lady looks like an alien.  We decided to add it to this week’s Link Round-Up to acknowledge your collective PsD-spotting prowess.  Nice work, everyone!  Thanks for sending it… now please stop.  ;)

Hi, all!  Here on PsD, this was the week of bad hand jobs.  Wait, that came out wrong.

Let’s start over.  This week we featured two cases of gigantic hands, which we’re sure would make “Thing,” our unofficial site mascot, very proud.  We also listed our top 10 best disasters of 2012, so it was a pretty full week, in spite of the fact that we spent most of our time drinking celebrating the holidays.  Let’s see what else has been happening in Photoshop news.

  • Nancy Pelosi gets caught ‘shopping some late-arriving female House Democrats into their official photo.  Her excuse: “What?  It was cold out.”  [Yahoo] (Thanks, Richard)
  • Is “Upside-Downing” the new Planking?  (Ugh, we hope not) [BuzzFeed]

  • This candid photo of JWow’s rear inspired her to issue a video rebuttal.  Haha, rebuttal.  See what I did there?  [The Superficial]

Photoshop Round-Up: Links We Love

This week on PsDisasters, we had a “Honey, I Blew Up The Baby” moment, we debated about whether digitally adding a skull-crushing sombrero to Gwen Stefani was a conceptual disaster or a psd, we took the world’s weirdest trolley ride, and Gucci gave us the best Christmas gift ever: A flamingo disguised as a handbag model.  It was a pretty good week!  Now, let’s cap it all off with some fun links from around the web.

  • Last weekend we issued a Quiz asking our readers if this Longchamp image was a disaster or not.  51% of our fans thought it was a psd… until model Coco Rocha herself responded with a behind-the-scenes image!  Verdict: Not a disaster.  [Styleite]

Photoshop Round-Up: Links We Love

This week on PsDisasters, we collectively wondered what had become of Gwyneth Paltrow’s face on the cover of Glamour magazine, we were reminded that kids with three arms need love too, we featured a real-life Ken doll wearing some sort of ridiculous banana hammock, and 73% of our readers thought that someone had amputated poor Kylie Minogue’s foot on the cover of UK Elle.

As if that wasn’t enough, we also issued a James Bond SkyFAIL Photoshop Challenge that completely blew us away, proving that PsD has the coolest, most creative readers on the web.  Then again, we might be a tad bit biased.

This week on Photoshop Disasters we featured not just one, but two disasters involving professional basketball players.  We also had a good debate over whether Jackie Chan has had his arm detached for advertising purposes.  Then we spent some time floating just above our air mattress while enjoying a good book.  You know, the usual.
