ZooPlus: SureFlap: Yeah, sure…

I’m struggling to make a clever joke about this flap that isn’t an inappropriate innuendo.

Photoshop Disasters

In this disaster’s defense, trying to get the right photo out of a cat is a lot like herding… well, cats. Still, you think the people at SureFlap would try to make their product appear like it can accommodate a full-sized feline.

Thanks Remy! You can see the original on ZooPlus.

Wolford: Disjointed Experience

Excuse me miss, where do those legs go? That’s not a pick up line, I’m concerned for your health.

Photoshop Disasters

This disaster didn’t seem obvious until I investigated those knees and hips (I have a hard job). If you have a difficult time seeing it, just try to strike this pose on the stairs. Also, make sure to have a chiropractor on speed-dial.

Thanks Elly for the great find! You can see the original on the Wolford site.

Mixer: I’ll say

If you don’t see the disaster, check that your monitor is plugged in.

Photoshop Disasters

Oh lord, where to start – the wonky perspectives, the flat images, or the inexplicable iPhone on the bar that (also inexplicably) tapers to the corner of this image? Funnily enough, the beefy-armed bartender sticks out because he’s the only cut-and-paste here that has any merit to it.

Thanks Tomas. You can see the original Mixerlouisville site.

Jean Paul: Perfume Ads Are Silly Anyways

My eye started at the cologne’s cod piece and it only got funnier from there.

Photoshop Disasters

Those muscles don’t seem to be quite the right spots, particularly the abdomen that gets sucked into the black hole at the center of the ad.

Community, I have to ask something of you – please avoid the obvious “black hole” innuendos I know you all want to make. I feel the pull too.

Thanks Karin for the find.

Sirdar: Punch Up the Poncho

Selling a poncho and using a VW van in the background of one these pictures isn’t the only joke in this disaster.

Photoshop Disasters

The poncho’s upside-down triangle shape can make shoulders and chest appear wider, but it takes a healthy dose of Photoshop go full Amazonian like this. For obvious reasons, I’m not going to be the one to tell these models they seem a bit big-boned.

Thanks Geoff!

Moonrise Kingdom: Double Time

I’ve always felt more films could benefit from having Edward Norton appear in them, but I’m not sure if he should appear in duplicate.

Photoshop Disasters

You have to look closely to catch this one to see the double Norton goodness. To benefit from the full Wes Anderson effect, put on some classic British rock and ask yourself what this disaster’s poignant portrayal of a flawed character says about the human condition and a state of loneliness despite duplicity.

Thanks Philipp. You can see the original DVD cover on Amazon.

Shape Magazine: Ironic magazine name

I’ve seen that shape before, but usually on stroke victims.

Photoshop Disasters

The motivation behind this disaster is hard to fathom. At best, it’s a statement on plastic surgery and staying out in the sun too long. At worst, someone was trying to fix a blemish and sneezed.

Thanks Raschel. You can see the original on the Shape website.

Turkey and its terrifying toddlers

Turkey “fascinates” is a generous verb choice for this tourism campaign.

Photoshop Disasters

I’m concerned about more than the toddler left unattended in the pool. I know kids can lose track of things, but how’d her thumb get all the way over there?

Thanks David for the find!
